Description
Bill Hixon has been recognized as the top metropolitan police chief in the country for three consecutive years. Seeking a new opportunity and challenge he decides to move to Boston. However this is not the Boston he is familiar with; instead he arrives in England with his 14-year-old daughter Kelsey in search of a fresh start.
He is recruited for his data-driven approach to policing and is assigned the task of addressing the high crime rates in East Lincolnshire which currently lead the league tables. As he embarks on this new role Bill is about to learn the true meaning of being a police officer.
As he navigates this unfamiliar and indifferent community he is forced to reevaluate his own identity and purpose. This journey leads him to question whether it is the city that needs him or if he is the one in need of the city.
