Description
This whetstone is constructed with premium grade corundum making it an excellent choice for maintaining your beloved blades. It has been trusted by many users from commercial kitchens to knife enthusiasts for years.
It works effectively with either water or oil and is suitable for knives chisels gouges bits and more.
Instructions for optimal results: Soak the stone in water for 5 minutes then place it on a stable surface.
Features:
- Step 1: #3000 grit for fine grinding ideal for repairing damaged edges and suitable for blunt knives. Hold the knife at an angle of 10 – 30° and grind the edge back and forth with gentle pressure.
- Step 2: #8000 grit for ultra-fine grinding essential for eliminating burrs. Use gentle pressure repeat the first step and continue until the edge is smooth and sharp.
It is recommended to use the whetstone once a week to keep your blades in optimal condition for frequent use.
Maintenance: Wipe the surface with a wet cloth or rinse with water after sharpening then dry in a cool place.
