Neo-Noir Action Thriller American Night DVD Art World Kidnapping and Betrayal

A neo-noir action thriller set in the contemporary art world of New York City where two men share a deep passion for art: an unscrupulous art dealer and a mobster who aspires to be an artist. The story is ignited by a valuable painting that triggers a series of unexpected events dramatically altering their lives.

One of the main characters is an art dealer who has a keen eye for spotting fakes and seems to have it all including his own gallery. However his life takes a turn when an explosion occurs in his gallery leading to a breakup with his girlfriend. Suddenly he finds himself at rock bottom.

He encounters a seemingly innocent girl who complicates his emotions further. When his step-brother appears with a long-lost masterpiece it appears to be the answer to his financial and personal troubles despite the mystery surrounding its theft.

As the plot unfolds a mobster enters the scene kidnapping the dealer’s girlfriend and demanding the masterpiece in return for her release. The dealer must navigate a web of challenges to save both his girlfriend and the valuable artwork.
