Description
This thermometer utilizes advanced infrared (IR) technology for contact-free measurement of foreheads or object surfaces. The measurement range is 1-3cm and it displays the detected temperature within 1 second with a measuring accuracy of +/- 0.2°C (+/- 0.4°F). If the temperature exceeds 37.5°C the display will change color and an alarm will sound. It features a portable and compact design with an ergonomic grip. The device is suitable for use in various settings including clinics worksites offices retail stores schools warehouses and homes. Additionally it has an auto-off function that activates after approximately 80 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.
