Gasless MIG Welding Wire E71T-11 Flux Cored 0.8mm
E71T-11 is a self-shielding flux cored wire designed for welding carbon steels. This wire does not require a shielding gas and is suitable for limited multi-pass welding operations. While the bead appearance may differ from gas-shielded products the convenience of not needing gas contributes to its popularity. E71T-11 operates exclusively on straight polarity (DCEN).
Product Features:
- Suitable for all-positional welding in single pass automatic and semi-automatic fabrications
- Applicable for aluminized and galvanized steel with thicknesses ranging from 1.2 to 5.0mm
- Designed for on-site general fabrication and structural work that does not require impact properties
- Can be welded using DCEN polarity
- Typical applications include:
- – Butt lap and fillet welds on steel from 16 gauge to 1/2″
- – Assembly and maintenance welding
