Description
Features:
- This brake caliper press tool is designed for disc brake systems only not suitable for drum brakes.
- It includes two sets of push boards: one set for twin and quad piston fixed calipers and another for single and twin piston floating calipers. The larger boards are suitable for some sextuplet piston fixed calipers.
- The tool is designed to “push” the piston back rather than twisting or compressing which is necessary for certain brake types.
Specifications:
- 360-degree ratchet design for easy access and use from any angle.
- Reduces hand fatigue during operation.
- Two spreading plates maintain parallel alignment to evenly distribute force on the caliper piston preventing damage or dislocation.
Usage:
- Utilize the long lever handle to expand and retract the spreading plates.
- Adjust the positive and negative settings by flipping the reversing switch in the ratchet.
- Initial pressure is required on both spreading plates to engage the ratchet; squeeze them for a few swings until the appropriate size is reached for insertion into the calipers.
