Coarse Perlite 20L Organic Soil Medium for Plants Hydroponics and Potting Mix

A light hard aerated white mineral formed from volcanic glass used in potting mixes to enhance drainage provide aeration to plant roots and retain oxygen moisture and nutrients from soluble fertilizers. Ideal for creating custom potting mixes or raised bed mixes in bulk. Simply combine with compost soil and other components to formulate a specialty blend particularly suited for plants that thrive in well-aerated and well-drained conditions such as cacti succulents and orchids. The angular properties of coarse perlite make it especially effective for producing free-draining potting mixes.

In seed raising mixtures this mineral promotes faster germination and improved seedling growth. Seedlings can be easily removed from perlite with minimal root damage allowing for smooth transplantation with little disturbance.
