99.9% Pure pharmaceutical Grade DMSO also known as Dimethyl Sulfoxide.

DMSO is derived from pine trees as a byproduct of the paper manufacturing industry and is also naturally found in garlic as one of the root’s sulfur compounds.

It has long been utilized as a chemical solvent and intermediate for:

• Non-industrial applications including pesticides fungicides veterinary medicines and cosmetics.
• Domestic purposes such as coatings paints lacquers varnishes paint removers cleaning products inks fillers putties plasters modeling clay and polishes.
• Commercial uses including anti-freeze de-icing products adhesives sealants hydraulic fluids and construction materials.

• DMSO is temperature sensitive and can crystallize in cold environments. If crystallization occurs keep the bottle in a warm location (15°C – 20°C) to return it to liquid form. For quicker results place the bottle in a sealed zip lock bag and immerse it in warm water. Do not microwave!

DMSO is an excellent solvent that can dissolve a wide range of chemicals and facilitate their passage across biological membranes. While systemic toxicity from the chemical alone is not expected its solvating properties may allow other chemicals in formulations to enter the body.

DMSO has a relatively high freeze temperature of 16-19 degrees Celsius. If the liquid appears partially frozen upon receipt this is normal. Simply immerse the bottle in lukewarm water until all icy bits are gone and remove it promptly to avoid overheating the DMSO.
