Description

Keeping wine bottles horizontal while in storage ensures the cork remains moist preventing unwanted air from entering the bottle and spoiling the wine. The optimal amount of air that should enter a corked bottle is the minimal amount that penetrates a swollen cork. Additionally horizontal storage allows sediment to collect at the side of the bottle away from the cork reducing the risk of sediment damaging the cork and affecting the wine’s taste.
This freestanding rack requires no assembly and can be used to store red rosé or white wine (prior to chilling). With a countertop wine rack you can easily see which wines are available when you want to enjoy a glass.
