Uses: It is effective in adsorbing small molecular weight organics and pesticides from both waste and potable water as well as in deozonation processes in aquatic centers.

- Chlorine Removal: It is used to remove chlorine from municipal water supplies for various processing plants.
- Aquatic Centre: The granular activated carbon is used as a filter in a vessel for water treatment which is also backwashed and can last several years before replacement is necessary.
