Applications:

• This serum base can suspend a small amount of particulates such as petals mica and exfoliants allowing for creative three-dimensional serum treatments.
• A few drops of vegetable carrier or specialty oil including essential oils can be suspended in this formula but it will not emulsify. Adding oils may decrease the serum’s clarity making it appear hazy or like a thin emulsion. It is recommended to keep the oil level at 3% or below and check for long-term stability.
• Incorporate your choice of antioxidant soothing hydration or microbiome-boosting liquid extracts.
• Compatible with AHA’s enhancing their efficacy as hyaluronic acid delivers AHA deeper into the skin. Caution is advised when creating high-strength treatments; it is suggested to keep AHA’s at 1-5% and pH at 3.6-4.
• Suitable for use with water-soluble vitamins such as Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C) and B Vitamins.
• Water-soluble botanical powders like Aloe Pineapple Coconut Water Manuka Honey and Papaya can be mixed in to create a hyaluronic fruit juice.
• Add a water-soluble color to enhance the visual appeal of the formula.
• Mix into a facial cream base to boost its ability to rehydrate the skin while softening the cream and providing a light-touch feel.
• Blend in 1-10% floral water to maintain product clarity while building an aroma profile.

Incompatible Ingredients: High levels of salt alcohol or oils may reduce the stability of the gel structure and lead to precipitation of the hyaluronic acid and thickening polymers.

Directions For Use: Decant into a serum pump or dropper bottle and use after cleansing as a hydrating serum base. Follow up with moisturizer or night cream if desired. Apply to the skin up to twice a day to enhance hydration reduce skin irritation and improve skin resilience and barrier function.
