Audio Video TransmissionThis adapter transmits both audio and video from a Mini DisplayPort/Thunderbolt port to HDMI. It is not bi-directional. It supports uncompressed audio formats such as LPCM and compressed audio formats including DTS Digital Dolby Digital DTS-HD and Dolby True HD.

ResolutionThe adapter supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and 1080p (Full HD) along with flawless audio pass-through for uncompressed digital 7.1 5.1 or 2 channels.

  • Mini DisplayPort supporting both audio and video is available only on Apple devices released after April 2010. Ensure compatibility before purchasing as it is not compatible with MacBook Pro models released after 2016.
  • The adapter transmits only from Mini DisplayPort to HDMI and is not bidirectional.
