Audio Video TransmissionThis adapter transmits both audio and video from a Mini DisplayPort/Thunderbolt port to HDMI. It is not bi-directional. It supports uncompressed audio formats such as LPCM and compressed audio formats including DTS Digital Dolby Digital DTS-HD and Dolby True HD.
ResolutionThe adapter supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and 1080p (Full HD) along with flawless audio pass-through for uncompressed digital 7.1 5.1 or 2 channels.
Wide CompatibilityCompatible with various devices including 2015 Apple MacBook MacBook Pro MacBook Air iMac Mac mini Mac Pro Microsoft Surface Pro series Lenovo ThinkPad series Dell XPS and Latitude series Acer Aspire Intel NUC Asus Zenbook HP Envy Google Chromebook Pixel and Toshiba Satellite Pro series.
Note:
- This adapter is designed for PCs or graphics cards with Mini DisplayPort (Thunderbolt 2.0). Please verify your device’s output specifications before purchasing.
- Mini DisplayPort supporting both audio and video is available only on Apple devices released after April 2010. Ensure compatibility before purchasing as it is not compatible with MacBook Pro models released after 2016.
- The adapter transmits only from Mini DisplayPort to HDMI and is not bidirectional.
- For optimal performance use an HDMI version 1.4 cable within 8 meters.
- Not compatible with Thunderbolt 3.0.
