Important Note
- This model is for use with NVMe SSDs only; SATA M.2 SSDs are not supported.
- It supports physical PCIe x4 x8 and x16 slots only; PCIe x1 slots are not supported.
- It supports logical/throughput interface up to PCIe x4.
- NVMe M.2 SSDs require a motherboard with an Intel 9 series (Z97 H97 Z170 X99) or higher chipset and Windows 8 or higher operating system.
- If there is a yellow exclamation mark under Device Manager after installation check if additional drivers are required from the SSD manufacturer.
- Legacy motherboards without a built-in NVMe M.2 slot cannot support booting the operating system from PCI Express.
