It enables the connection of 2.5″ 3.5″ or 5.25″ Serial ATA/SATA or IDE/PATA hard drives externally through a USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port. This adapter offers a caseless solution for easy hard drive swapping. Data can be transferred quickly at speeds of up to 5Gbps via USB 3.0 which is up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0. The installation process is straightforward and does not require drivers while a blue LED light indicates data transfer activity. This versatile solution is ideal for data transfers and backups.
